Parx Casino’s Newly Rebranded Hotel Set to Debut
For several years, Greenwood Racing Inc., the owner of Parx Casino, has been exploring plans to add a hotel to the property. The original plan to build a hotel on the property was shelved in favor of purchasing the Inn at Fox Chase, a nearby hotel. It has now been extensively renovated and rebranded as the Parxview Hotel.
Guests will soon be able to make reservations to stay in the newly branded hotel. An email went out recently to casino player card members to invite them to be the first to stay at Parxview Hotel.
Parx Casino gets a hotel
Parx Casino is the largest casino in Pennsylvania, with more than 180,000 sq. ft. of space for gaming and sports wagering. Guests can play slots, enjoy live table games, and play poker in a private room. Parx’s online casino is also highly popular and accessible via a mobile app, allowing players to enjoy games anywhere.
At Parx Casino, guests have many entertainment options besides gambling. They can dine at restaurants and drink cocktails and craft beers at bars. Its Xcite Center is an entertainment venue that brings live music, comedy acts, etc., to Bucks County.
The original plan called for a 13-story, 300-room hotel with a banquet facility on the Parx Casino grounds, which the Bensalem Council approved, including a walkway connecting the hotel to the casino. It just wasn’t the right time to build this hotel, and a decision was made to buy the existing Inn at Fox Chase, located at 3327 Street Road, instead.
Renovations to the Inn at Fox Chase
Greenwood Racing Inc. decided to renovate the existing Inn at Fox Chase, which isn’t far away from the casino. All the rooms and public areas of the hotel have been update to reflect a modern style. The top floor of the hotel now consists of 16 new suites.
